Our continual investment in training
In the accounting profession, the latest technical knowledge is essential. All of our staff receive ongoing training in-house, attend external courses and benefit from continuing professional development (CPD). With ever changing legislation in audit, accounting, payroll and tax it’s important that our team continues to develop key knowledge in these areas.
Meston Reid & Co are authorised by ICAS to train CA students and are a platinum-approved training practice for ACCA. We also take part in the Robert Gordon University placement programme for undergraduates on the Accounting and Finance degree course. Recently we have supported a number of our staff through successful completion of their exams and will continue to help them develop a deep understanding of the many business sectors that we service.
Each year we support and mentor graduates and trainees to begin their Chartered Accountancy training and exams. This summer we have three young trainees joining us to do just that, and we will support them in gaining accredited accounting qualifications.
We pride ourselves on an inclusive corporate culture and continually provide trainees with ‘on the job’ training and support to help them achieve their goals.
From time to time we also recruit school leavers and provide training. Ambitious candidates with aptitude and a positive attitude can also expect support in gaining accredited accounting qualifications.
